Noblis will follow the guidance of the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act of 1994 (USERRA) regarding compensation, benefits, and return-to-work rights of employees called to active duty.
Upon deployment, employees may continue medical, dental and other health-related insurances for the first 30 days at the active employee rates. After 30 days, employees will be permitted to elect COBRA for themselves and their dependents as provided by law. All other benefits, including, but not limited to, life insurance, long term disability insurance, AD&D and PTO accrual will cease as of the day an employee begins leave.

Medical Leave is available to you:
-
after you have been absent due to a medical condition for a total of 24 PTOMED hours within a period of five consecutive business days (pro-rated for part-time employees, based on your regularly-scheduled hours). Paid holidays, weekends and other paid time off are not counted toward meeting the 5 consecutive business day requirement;
-
for a reoccurring personal illness and after having met the 24-hour/five-day PTOMED requirement for that same illness (pro-rated for part-time employees), based on your regularly-scheduled hours;

after a total of 72 cumulative PTOMED hours due to your medical conditions during the calendar year.
