General Information
Chlorobenzene (Chemical Abstracts Service registry no. 108-90-7) is a colorless liquid with a not unpleasant odor used as a chemical intermediate and solvent. Chlorobenzene is unreactive towards water and decomposes only at high temperatures. Chlorobenzene is generally present at 5-20 percent in Tabun as manufactured by the original German process.
