Service Description:
The Wireless Communication and Sensor Networks Team has a strong combination of hands-on and theoretical knowledge of numerous wireless technologies and sensor networks in several domain areas. Our hands-on experience includes implementation, test, and evaluation of multimillion dollar prototypes, for example, staging the equipment in one of our wireless laboratories (see Wireless Communications And Mobile Computing Laboratory for more information). Our theoretical experience includes being an active contributor to the public safety sponsored TIA P25 standards body and the IEEE 802.11 working group. Recent major clients include the Department of Homeland Security's Science and Technology, the Department of Justice's National Institute of Justice, and the Department of Transportation'sResearch and Innovative Technology Administration. In addition, Nobis hs supported several federal or local clients.
