Protecting our nation and its citizens

Noblis works across many sectors to help the government and corporations make our world safer. Whether we are helping to develop technologies for assisting the Army in properly disposing of chemical weapons, or assessing the threat from biological or other catastrophic events, our WMD Defense and Intelligence work is making a difference.

Our ground-breaking work in biometrics and  Identity Discovery and Management is helping thwart terrorist attacks and identify criminals through facial recognition technology. It is also helping establish new levels of security for passports and visas.

Our Networks and Information Integration experts are working to improve information security and integrity and to  protect our critical infrastructures cyber attack.

We are also working with various law enforcement agencies through the Center for Criminal Justice Technology to improve information sharing and emergency response.

This report documents the use of emerging technologies that provide mobility to first responders at major accidents.
