Looking beyond the traditional for practical solutions to changing transportation needs

Noblis works with government and industry to make safe, reliable, efficient and affordable transportation systems.  We offer innovative ideas, practical engineering, objectivity and a passion to serve the public.

Our experts provide strategic planning advice to assist you in aligning your work programs with broader government priorities, environmental constraints and the needs of the public.

We can help you integrate programmatic efforts through our portfolio management and measure and evaluate your program investment options through business case development.

We apply specialized expertise and best practices in acquisition to enable your team to deliver efficient and successful source selections.

We employ a rigorous and realistic approach that can help you develop and manage your transportation system lifecycle through systems engineering.

We incorporate a human-centered design philosophy for developing safe, usable, and useful systems and products.  This, along with effective human factors analyses increases the likelihood of that your system will be deployed acceptably and effectively.

We conduct transportation system assessments by looking beyond the traditional for practical solutions, and by using our analytic modeling and traffic simulation tools and techniques to help you measure and predict the performance of your system under various operating conditions.

Acuity, cognitive ability, adeptness, and reaction timeare just a few of the human factors impacting traffic safety.

Single-function warning systems are already available in some cars and light trucks. The next step is to provide multiple systems in one vehicle, which requires addressing some daunting human interface issues.
