NVTC Honors Noblis CFO for Community Service in DC Area
CFO Mark Simione receives award from Northern Virginia Technology Council   

Noblis Chief Financial Officer Mark Simione was honored with the 2008 Greater Washington Technology Community Service Award, which is presented to “a financial executive or technology organization that raises the bar for philanthropy, or otherwise helped improve the quality of life, in the Greater Washington region.”

NVTC noted Mr. Simione’s service as a member of the Endowment Investment Committee of the Board of Trustees of Merrimack College as well as President of United Cerebral Palsy of D.C. and Northern Virginia. Also, Mr. Simione is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Friends of Barker, an adoption agency in the Maryland, Virginia, and D.C. areas, managing the endowment fund for the foundation through the Board of The Friends of Barker.

The Northern Virginia Technology Council, the largest technology council in the nation, produced the 12th Annual 2008 Greater Washington Technology CFO Awards Banquet, which honored chief financial officers for extraordinary achievement and excellence in promoting the development of the Greater Washington region's technology community. The banquet, held at the Hilton McLean in McLean, Virginia on June 3, 2008, was attended by nearly 800 technology executives from the region.
