On Wednesday, 23 April, Noblis CEO Amr ElSawy made remarks at the "Dare to CARE" 2008 CARE Awards launch, hosted by Northern Virginia Family Service (NVFS) and members of the CARE (Companies As Responsive Employers) award-winning community.
The CARE Awards, created in 1992 by NVFS and the local business community, recognizes and promotes companies which offer employees policies and practices enabling healthy work/life balance.
The purpose of the event was for local business and human resource leaders to celebrate the CARE-ing circle of award winning companies and to welcome new companies interested in the CARE Award program.
Noblis Director for Corporate and Employee Outreach Mosetta Whitaker serves on the CARE Awards Advisory Committee. Each year the employers in Northern Virginia that are selected by the Committee to receive a CARE Award are employers who provide exceptional family-friendly workplace policies and benefits for their employees. Noblis was a 2007 recipient of the CARE Award. |
