
- Jim Bunch presented a paper that he co-authored with Greg Hatcher and Cheryl Lowrance titled "The ITS Costs Database Evolution, Enhancements and Features." - Rick Glassco presented a review of the five "State of the Practice" reports for the session titled, "Applications for the Environment: Real-time Information Synthesis (AERIS)" which included Glassco's paper "Techniques for Evaluating the Environmental Impacts of ITS Deployment" and Katie Miller's paper "Applications for AERIS." - Liz Greer presented "Offering Users an Innovative Home Page to Access ITS Information" which she co-authored with Jim Bunch, Brian Philips, and Stephen Warner. The home page is the portal for the ITS Knowledge Resources including benefits, costs, and lessons learned.
- Cheryl Lowrance presented an overview of the recently published "ITS Benefits, Costs, Deployment, and Lessons Learned Desk Reference 2011 Update."
- Mike McGurrin gave an invited presentation titled "Transportation Accessibility: A Key Performance Metric."
- Ted Smith was a panelist during Incident Management and Emergency Responder Day, and presented a paper on Response, Emergency Staging, Communications, Uniform Management, and Evacuation (R.E.S.C.U.M.E.), which is part of the Dynamic Mobility Applications (DMA) program within the U.S. DOT Connected Vehicle and Public Safety Programs.
- Gwo-Wei Torng co-authored "Advancing Community Transportation Through Coordination Using ITS" which addressed the Travel Management Coordination Centers demonstration program, an outcome of the Mobility Services for All Americans initiative.
- Kathryn Wochinger delivered a paper titled "Report on the U.S. Department of Transportation Workshop on the Evaluation of ITS."
- Karl Wunderlich presented a paper titled "Integrated Corridor Management (ICM) Program: Calculating Multimodal Corridor Performance Measures from Simulation Outputs" and moderated a technical session on managing complex transportation networks using decision support systems.
