John Adam

John A. Adam, Ph.D.
Professor of Mathematics, Old Dominion University
Author of “A Mathematical Nature Walk”

Mathematics professor John A. Adam, Ph.D., kicked-off the Fall 2009 Technology Tuesdays program by taking us on A Mathematical Nature Walk, which is the title of his book published in May 2009.  He is also the author of "Guesstimation: Solving the World's Problems on the Back of a Cocktail Napkin."

During the last 15 years, Dr. Adam has been involved in mathematical biology, specifically developing mathematical models of tumor growth and metastasis, and mathematical models for wound healing in bone.
