IM&S Effectiveness

Because of innovative breakthroughs, individuals carry out their responsibilities differently, capitalizing on technology in ways that may not have been envisioned in the past. At times, you need to take a step back, conduct independent reviews, and consider various factors as they apply to your business, operations, and clinical environments.

With the right mix of healthcare and technology expertise, Noblis can help you improve your organizational effectiveness.

An Information Management & Information Systems Effectiveness Assessment can provide a high-level set of observations and recommendations covering a range of topics:

  • Strategic direction and business/clinical strategies. We work directly with key management to understand the direction of the organization. Our assessment will determine how technology can best support the business, as well as its strategies, goals, and processes. The image of the organization can be enhanced with the right IS environment.
  • Business operations effectiveness. Our staff review baseline metrics and outcomes to quantify IS & IM effectiveness throughout your organization. Industry metrics will be compared as appropriate. Discussions with employees will examine the usefulness and adoption of technology as it applies to the business or clinical functions.
  • Technology effectiveness. We explore possible improvements to enhance operational effectiveness, including technology, processes, and organization.
  • Lessons learned from the past. Noblis understands how business, clinical, and technology changes impact organizational performance and how to apply lessons-learned.
  • Organizational change management concerns. Through individual interviews, we identify concerns of those staff members who will be most affected by changes that may occur. By identifying concerns, an organization can properly position for change in a proactive manner.
  • Implementation readiness assessment. Noblis can assess the organization’s “readiness” to implement comprehensive enterprise systems (e.g., electronic medical record) and identify strategies and a roadmap to mitigate potential risks.
