Energy and Environment

Noblis stands at the forefront of environmental planning and policy making. We deliver timely and responsive energy and environmental solutions to more than 30 federal agencies, including the Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Energy (DoE), and the General Services Administration (GSA). We strategically evaluate, plan and implement programs and employ lessons learned to improve current processes and practices and maximize efficiencies. We design and conduct rigorous technical assessments and evaluations in a comprehensive policy, regulatory, and technical framework. As a result, our recommendations are actionable, implementable, and enhance performance.

Our highly-skilled experts assist clients in solving enterprise, installation, and facility-specific issues. Some examples of how we advance our clients’ missions are:
  • Our sustainability team worked with Pentagon personnel to help craft a comprehensive and strategic plan that addresses GHG emissions, energy and water efficiency, renewable energy, vehicle fleets, solid waste management, toxic and hazardous materials, sustainable buildings, and employee travel and commuting.
  • In support of GSA, we created the GSA Sustainable Facilities Tool (SF Tool), a web-based application used by government facility managers, real estate professionals, and project managers to identify and prioritize cost effective, sustainable green building strategies.
  • Our teams currently provide the Air Force Civil Engineer Center with engineering, geological, and program management expertise to assure objective, cost-effective and sustainable performance-based remediation.
